I learned from this article that the designer always sketches out his ideas so he will not forgot them. It also gives him an idea of what to do when it comes time to start making layers. I have never heard of the word vector used before. I like how realistic the photo looks in the end result. One last thing I learned is sometimes to walk away from a project and come back to it later with a fresh set of eyes. He mentioned that this has helped him catch small details that he has needed to change or make better, instead of finishing it all in one day.
I did the same article. I found the whole walk away, returning hours later tip interesting. I like how he was able to go from a rough sketch to a 2-d logo, to a full 3-d color contoured image.
ReplyDeleteI really appreciate the way the colors fade in and out on the peeled skin.
